Founder of Orchid & Anchor | Clinical Architect
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) myself, I don’t just understand the "Orchid" temperament from a textbook—I live it. With over a decade of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to helping neurodivergent nervous systems move from a state of constant overwhelm to a state of peace.
My Clinical Foundation:
-
Education: MA in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University (2015).
-
Specializations: Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Level 2 Trained EMDR Therapist.
-
Integrative Modalities: Trained in "Healing Trauma with Guided Drawing" through the Institute for Sensorimotor Art Therapy, incorporating sensory-based art into our clinical work.
-
HSP Expert: Recognized on Dr. Elaine Aron’s website as an HSP-Knowledgeable Therapist.
I am an active member of the Association for Play Therapy, the EMDR International Association, and the American Counseling Association. Since 2015, I have focused on building genuine, transformative relationships with children and their families.

Jamie Chambers, MA, LCPC
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Meet Jamie Chambers, MA, LCPC
Co-Founder of Orchid & Anchor
The Expertise: Jamie brings a sophisticated clinical lens to the physical environment. With a Master of Arts in Counseling and years of experience as a clinical therapist specializing in child therapy, Jamie understands the "why" behind an Orchid child’s behavior. She recognizes that for a highly sensitive child, a cluttered or over-stimulating room isn't just "messy"—it is a source of neurological distress.
While typical organizers focus on aesthetics, Jamie focuses on sensory regulation. She uses her background in child therapy to:
• Physically "Sensory-Proof" the Home: Identifying and removing specific environmental toxins, harsh lighting, and auditory triggers that overload a sensitive nervous system.
• Create Structured Calming Zones: Building functional "Safe Harbors" within the home that are psychologically and physically designed to help a child reset after a long day.
• The "Done-With-You" Integration: Jamie provides the high-impact physical labor required to implement your therapist’s clinical blueprint. She physically declutters and organizes with an empathetic, clinical understanding of a family’s overwhelm, ensuring a seamless hand-off from your sessions to your living room.
